The company will also deliver the first AW169 to a Filipino customer and an additional AW139 for VIP/corporate transportations. All these models are an addition to the AW109 Power, already widely used by customers in the country. The range of Leonardo’s commercial helicopters in the Philippines is supported by the Royal Star Aviation Maintenance & Services, based in Manila, and Leonardo’s regional office and the training centre based in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
