Paris – From December, Lombardy and Liguria will be closer to the French Riviera and Provence thanks to a new direct rail link built by Thello, a French-Italian company owned by Trenitalia and Transdev. One ticket, no switch in Ventimiglia and the same comfort of Trenitalia’s Frecciabianca. The link will start from the December 14th with the entry into force of the winter timetable and tickets may be purchased from mid-October on the website thello.com and at Trenitalia sales-points. The stations served in France will be Menton, Monte Carlo, Antibes, Cannes, St Raphael, Les Arcs, Toulon, in addition to Nice Ville and Marseille Saint Charles. (9Colonne)
