Nov. 19 – How can we preserve Italy’s and Japan’s cultural heritage? A workshop on the conservation of cultural heritage held at the Umberto Agnelli auditorium of the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo on Tuesday, November 25, from 2pm to 6.30pm will attempt to answer the question. The study seminar (in English) on the “Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Architecture” was organized by the IIC and the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, in collaboration with the National Research Institute for Cultural Properties based in Tokyo. Italian and Japanese cultural heritage are considered among the most important in the world; and both public institutions and the private sector are investing great resources for its conservation. The goal of this workshop – as stated on the website of the IIC – is to allow experts to meet and exchange information on the latest methods and technologies in the field of cultural heritage conservation.
