Paris – An exhibition dedicatd to Franco Albini (1905-1977), one of the great masters of modern Italian architecture, will be held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris until May 30. Architect, designer and professor at the university, Albini was the author of a number of architectural projects, furniture designs and installations that have profoundly influenced the Italian rationalist movement and today represents indispensable models in the history of architecture and design. This retrospective exhibition on Franco Albini in Franes, wishes to present this dualism between architect and designer. Curated by Giampiero Bosoni, the exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Fondazione Franco Albini, and in partnership with the Cassina company which has exclusive rights to the production of Albini furniture. The exhibition allows for the discovery of the most daring projects of the great Italian architect and allows to wonder on the fruitfulness of his method, not to mention his passions as a man and citizen.
