(22 September, 2016) The exhibition “Pesci fuor d’acqua” (Fish out of Water) exhibition by Angela Barusi will be on display until October 11 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Barcelona (Ptge. Méndez Vigo , 5). The exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday, 20 September in the presence of local authorities and the public. The artist posted on Facebook: “I must admit; I have had a very devoted audience! It is wonderful to be surrounded by your friends! Thank you all”. The Italian Consul to Barcelon, Stefano Nicoletti spoke at the private opening of the exhibition. The exhibition is a series of watercolors, envisioned and created by Barusi. As a museologist, she promotes agricultural heritage through “Forma Libera”, a communications, strategy and marketing agency (Italy and Spain) of which she is the director. Barusi has always maintained a strong relationship with the art world marked by her encounter with Joan Hernández Pijoan, Antoni Tàpies, Carlo Mattioli and William Congdon. These artists have profoundly inspired Barusi’s way of “looking at art”. (PO/RED)
