Mar. 19 – A memorandum of cooperation was signed yesterday between the Republic of China, through its Commission of Science and Technology, and the Brescia company HSD Europe. The latter produces Sanispira, nasal filters for the prevention of adverse effects due to fine dusts, pollen and other allergens. HSD Europe will provide 120 000 Sanispira nasal filters to the Ministry of Science and Technology. The project is coordinated by the China-Italy Technology Transfer Center, established by the governments of the two countries. In the future, as illustrated by Paolo Narciso, HSD Europe will cooperate with Beijing for the research and development of other products adapted to the Chinese market, and for the construction of one or more Sanispira production lines in China. The ambassador Ding Wei appreciates the current efforts, noting that there is still ample scope for cooperation between China and Italy in the fields of science and technology, energy and environmental issues. The Chinese authorities then invited HSD Europe to participate in the International Technology Transfer Beijing Congress to give life to the operational phase of trade relations. Sanispira, which received the 2012 Talent Award, is the first, unique and exclusive nasal filter in the Category DPI CE 3, an Italian technology to protect from pollutants such as pollen, dust mites and air pathogenic agents in general.
