Jordan – Amman is currently hosting the second workshop on the exchange of information related to gender equality for public televisions of the southern Mediterranean. The initiative, funded by the European Union under the project MedMedia, sees Copeam as main partner and is organized with the support of the Jordan Media Institute. Participating in the seminar are managers and experts of public radio and television from 7 countries along the Mediterranean basin (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia). Together, they will analyze, with the support of three international experts, the specific needs of each organism in support of gender equality within internal policies, through the sharing of best practices and experiences. The final results of the project will be presented as part of the 23rd Annual COPEAM Conference (scheduled in Ajaccio 7-9 April 2016). (9Colonne)
